A Little Black Dress Affair | Recap

We had a wonderful evening celebrating fall fashion at Hilldale with our event on September 23rd :: A Little Black Dress Affair. Women from throughout the Madison area came together to enjoy exclusive discounts, LBD cupcakes, a mix & mingle and a fashion show. We could not have asked for a more beautiful evening and if you haven’t been over to the newly remodeled Hilldale yet – we encourage you to do so! Offering an unparalleled selection of national and local retailers, Hilldale is the premier venue for upscale shopping and dining in Madison.

A portion of proceeds from the event benefited the Gilda’s Club Madison. Attendees also had a chance to purchase raffle tickets for a prize valued at $500 and 100% of the raffle proceeds went to Gilda’s Club. The mission at Gilda’s Club is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. They provide that for more than 2,200 men, women and children including those living with cancer, their families and friends, co-workers and neighbors; and survivors of cancer and family survivors.

A great big thank you to Hilldale for hosting the event, to Barry Chic for managing the Fashion Show and to all of you who made it out and joined us!  We hope you all had a wonderful time, and we can’t wait to see you again at our next Mom’s Night Out!

Madison is such a cool city. We love it around here. We live here too and our vision is to create a platform where real parents share real stories and we can all learn from one another. You will get to know real moms doing life right here in our neighborhoods and find information on a wealth of topics – local summer camps, preschools, swim lessons, shops and boutiques, events and experiences as so much more.

  1. Hello Alisa,

I was with you at the registration table on Wednesday evening for the “Little Black Dress Affair”. I just wondered if you could email the picture of the 4 of us girls that were helping sell raffle tix for Gilda’s club?

    Thanks,
    Cindy
