It’s been a year. An entire year since the pandemic kicked off in the US. It has been devastating, infuriating and life altering but the creativity to cope by so many communities is impressive.
Wisconsin is known as a great place for outdoor fun and fitness. Every season is out in full force and you can find most landscapes by wandering not too far from your local area. Wisconsin communities have banned together for a friendly competition to challenge Wisconsinites to achieve fitness goals- get moving and get outside!
Be Active Wisconsin Community Challenge is a virtual event that will run for the month of March. Register your family (anyone aged 2 and older) with your town recreation center. Everyone registered will receive a t-shirt. Set weekly movement goals and add your accomplishments to a shared google form. The town that logs the most hours will win a trophy for most active city!
Get out there Wisconsin and enjoy the end of winter and beginning of spring! Any and all movement counts. Post pictures on your social media with hashtag #BEACTIVEWI
