Christmas Trees at Enchanted Valley Acres!
Start a new family tradition with us for choose-and-cut Christmas Trees or select from one of the many pre-cut options near the large red barn! Open daily from 9am-5pm beginning November 29th!
Enjoy the picturesque setting with beautiful views while selecting your perfect tree from either the valley or after taking a fun wagon ride to the top of the hill. Many choices to select from including Fraser Fir, Balsam Fir, Canaan Fir or White Pine and while supplies last- wreaths, garlands and door swags. Don’t forget to grab some warm donuts and a hot drink!
There is no admission charge to the farm and dogs on a leash are welcome.

Beautiful pumpkin patch, fun and relaxing tractor-hay ride, and fun play area (with bikes made of tractor parts, two giant slides, and lots of interesting farm-themed play). We took our 1 and a half year old last fall and he loved it. Plan to go again this year!

One of the only “small-town” children’s museums in the nation, the Black Earth Children’s Museum (BECM) is a unique and enriching place that inspires discovery, creativity and community!
Designed and built with input from the local community , BECM is truly a community space. Exhibits are designed with a focus on reflecting the local culture and environment to promote learning and appreciation. The museum offers engaging and unique play experiences throughout 7,000 square feet of the historic Patron’s Mercantile Co-Op Building.
BECM’s exhibits are designed primarily for children ages birth to 10 but offer excitement for all ages! In addition, we will be offering a wide variety of programs and events , such as skill development workshops for middle school and high school students, toddler music and fun events for the whole family.
The Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison, WI is one of only a handful of admission-free, community-supported zoos in the country. Fully accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, our beautiful zoo features exhibits and attractions for the whole family. The Zoo is open daily 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., all year round except some holidays. Donations are encouraged but not required. All are welcome at the Henry Vilas Zoo!
What’s the area’s favorite place for a kid’s birthday party? Madison residents agree over and over—it’s MCM! We make celebrating a piece of cake by handling all the details so you can have fun too.

Our mission is to provide families with an enjoyable country experience. We sell our products at very reasonable prices. We offer, at no cost, a haunted house, a mile long hiking trail, and a wagon ride to our pumpkin patch through our covered bridge. Many make believe characters can be found along the path to the pumpkin field.
We offer a wide range of fall decorations; such as, pumpkins of all sizes, gourds, squash, corn stalks, straw bales, ornamental corn, and a variety of crafts including dried flowers.
Established in 1975, Appleberry Farm has grown to be a local favorite for fresh-picked apples and delicious cider in the Fall. Now we have expanded to strawberries & raspberries in the summer. Come visit the Orchard, say hi to the Chickens and sit by the Duck pond. Enjoy a Hayride or walk through our oak savanna with beautiful views towards Blue Mounds.

In June, you’re welcome to take a hayride up to our Pick-Your-Own Strawberry patch for some fresh, juicy berries. The orchard sits on two sites in the middle of what once was a typical Norwegian-American dairy farm dating back to the early 1800’s. The farmhouse, dating to 1860, still remains and has sheltered our family since the orchard opened its doors in 1984. What isn’t composed of orchard is wetland, prairie, rolling fields, and woodlands.
In addition to wonderful fall fruit and cider, we provide our customers with a quiet place to enjoy nature, a harvest experience, and an escape from the pressure of fast-paced urban life. Eugster’s Farm Market & Petting Farm is a beautiful 349 acre farm located on Hwy 138 between Stoughton and Oregon just 20 minutes south of Madison. For 30 years we have been providing Dane County & Southern Wisconsin with our famous sweet corn, muskmelons and the freshest produce available.
Eugster’s Petting Farm hosts thousands of children every season. The Petting Farm has lots of room, well over 15 acres. You will find all the different farm animals. We provide a variety of activities for the children such as a tricycle area, huge sandbox, a learning center, goat bottle feeding, goat milking demonstrations, a fish & duck pond and four play sets. At Green’s Pleasant Springs Orchard apples are our specialty. We grow 74 varieties of apples press our own apple cider and make applesauce and apple butter. In addition, we grow an assortment of fruits and vegetables, including rhubarb, salad greens, peppers, tomatoes, pumpkins, squash, melons, sweet corn, and pears.

Olbrich Botanical Gardens offers 16 acres of incredible outdoor display gardens, FREE to the public, as well as an indoor tropical conservatory filled with exotic plants, flowers, birds, and fish that visitors can enjoy all year long. Olbrich Botanical Gardens offers family, youth, and adult classes and programs as well as special events, concerts, a gift shop, and a gardening library to its visitors.

Located in McFarland, WI, Spartan Day Camp provides summer day camp, before and after school and non-school day programs for children ages 5-12. Wisconsin State Licensed under DCF 252.
OUR MISSION
Spartan Day Camp encourages personal growth in each child by providing both physical and educational activities. This exceptional program is facilitated by experienced professional educators. Anchored in this safe and supportive community, each camper will learn, explore, acquire new skills, feel valued for who they are, and develop a sense of belonging. Our structured program is designed to meet your child’s needs.
Spartan Day Camp provides a summer program shaped by fun, friends and nature, featuring science, natural wonder, independence and exploration.
The Activity Area is ment to be an interactive experience for everyone. It includes a tricycle track, mini-maze, giant hay pile to climb, goats, rabbits, chicks, yard games, tee-pee, discovery barn, toy train house, play house, barbie play house, duck races and sandpile . There are picnic tables and benches in the Activity Area, but everyone is welcome to bring a blanket to take a break on the grassy slope.
The Corn Maze takes 45 minutes to 1 hours to complete when walking at an average pace. The location of the Corn Maze on the farm changes every year to work within our scheduled crop rotation.
Sutter’s Ridge Pumpkin Patch has a huge selection of pumpkins you can pick yourself from our 6 acre patch!

Taliesin is the home, studio, school, and 800-acre estate of Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959). Located in the Driftless Region of southwestern Wisconsin near Spring Green, Taliesin is the name of Wright’s 37,000 square foot home as well as the estate that includes buildings from nearly every decade of Wright’s career from the 1890s to the 1950s. In 1976, Taliesin is designated as a National Historic Landmark and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Covid Precautions
We have implemented “hands-free” online ordering of tickets and food, mandatory temperature checks at the doors, and thorough, hourly cleaning of facilities. During shut down, every area of the park was scrubbed and disinfected. Did you know our ball pit has over 40,000 balls?! We have a special machine that cleans each ball individually scrubbed and shoots them with UV light! The foam in the pit is antimicrobial. We have limited capacity. Our employees have wellness checks before each shift. The park has UV lighting. Our team is wearing personal protective equipment, and we are naturally set up for social distancing!
