(Madison, WI): United Way of Dane County is excited to announce their Dane County Seasons of Caring Community Kickoff, coming up in Madison, WI on August 23! This community event is going to be filled with fun and is free to attend. It’s a great opportunity to attend a fun-filled afternoon with your family and to learn more about community needs and how YOU can help!
One of the most asked questions that we get at Madison Mom, is how families can get involved, volunteer and to help give back to and support our community. United Way is a fantastic organization and a great place to start. And this event is a really fun way to get involved and to learn more about volunteer opportunities in the Madison, WI area!
About this event
They’ll be kicking off this year’s community fundraising campaign with family-friendly activities and a chance to sample all United Way has to offer, followed by a brief program and cookout complete with all of your ballpark favorites. Event Schedule
4:00 pm: Explore United carnival – participate in games and activities, learn about our community and how you can get involved, and create Paper Product Packs to be distributed to local families through our nonprofit partners.
5:00 pm: Ballpark refreshments courtesy of the Madison Mallards
5:30 pm: Remarks by Jeff Keebler, 2022 Campaign Chair and Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Madison Gas and Electric and Renee Moe, President & CEO of United Way of Dane County
