We are so excited to announce our weekly playdate series kicking off on August 16th and running through September 27th! Each Wednesday we will congregate at The Green from 10:30am-Noon. The Green is a brand new green space located near Sundance Cinemas at Hilldale Shopping Center! The weekly playdate series will be co-hosted by Hilldale Shopping Center & Madison Moms Blog and is FREE to attend and each week will feature a special guest appearance (think Cinderella, Belle, superheroes, local musician David Landau and MORE!) along with some fun activities geared towards kids. We will be announcing the full lineup soon – but here is what we have already confirmed:
August 16 :: Special guests Princess Cinderella & Princess Belle; fun acivities and crafts provided by Playthings Toy Store
August 23 :: Local children’s musicians David Landau will be performing – he knows how to get a crowd energized (there will be lots of singing, dancing and giggling!)
August 30 :: Featuring Funny Faces Children’s Entertainment (face painting); story time with Meredith from Storybook Ballet; fun acivities and mosaic crafts provided by Playthings Toy Store; coupon from Stride Rite
September 6 :: Special guests Elsa & Anna; HABA games & snacks from Metcalfes
September 13 :: Special Superhero guests from Princess Parties by Paolina – BOOM. ZAP. POP!!; kindness stones with Playthings; samples from Bowl of Heaven
Septemer 20 :: Special guests Snow White & Rapunzel from Princess Parties by Paolina; Music with Musical Pathways Foundation; snacks from Metcalfes; activities with Playthings & Schleich; free sizing with Stride Rite & Morgan’s Shoes
September 27 :: Stroller Strides with Fit4Mom at 10:30 and 10:45! Music with David Landau 11:15-Noon! Crayon Cupcakes from Gigi’s. Crayon Challenge with Playthings. Snacks with Metcalfe’s. Free Shoe Sizing with Morgan’s Shoes. Spinning Prize Wheel and Coloring Sheets inside University Book Store.

While the events are free – we do ask that you take a minute to register so that we can plan accordingly! Additionally, we hope you are able to check out some of the new stores & restaurants after our gathering – there are a lot of really wonderful updates and food/shops geared towards families!
