About a year ago I learned about a new business, The Seventeenth Radish, opening in Verona. I decided to check it out and immediately loved what I saw. A warm, welcoming facility with friendly faces and programs for children ages 1-5. My oldest had just turned 2 and I was looking for a regular activity to add to her schedule but wasn’t quite ready to send her off to preschool just yet. I decided to enroll her in Tinker Labs 2x/week (2 hours each time) and it was one of the best decisions I have made for her. She has thrived and looks forward to it each time I drop her off! Starting this fall she will attend preschool at The Seventeenth Radish and I can’t wait for my 1 year old twins to enroll in the Tinker Lab program in the near future.
In addition to the Tinker Labs and preschool, they offer flexible drop off care, birthday party packages, and they also hold various activities that you can register your child for, including: karate, Spanish, yoga, Chinese, cooking, music, art, drama – to name a few!
I love knowing that when I drop my daughter off… she will have fun, she will learn, she will feel safe and she will be able to socialize with children her age. It truly is a fantastic addition to our community, I feel so lucky that my family found this place and that our children will greatly benefit from it!
The Seventeenth Radish has expanded and has now has opened a Waunakee location! The Waunakee location will be just as awesome as the Verona location and now has openings for Fall Tinker Labs and Preschool. They will also be offering a weekly Mother & Baby class each Friday morning at the Waunakee location – a great opportunity for those with children, 18 months and under, to get out and meet other moms and socialize.
We encourage you to check out the new location (or Verona) and see what they have to offer. It really is a unique, flexible concept and something that has certainly enriched my toddler’s life!
