In the spring of 2021, I was delegated as the family member in charge of getting COVID vaccine appointments for my parents. And my in-laws. And my parents’ friends… and parents of friends… and the list goes on. Once people caught wind that I was successfully booking coveted time slots for friends and family, they were reaching out pleading for help. And I was happy to do so! It was like an adrenaline rush every time I successfully booked an appointment—in fact, my parents were brought to happy tears when I called them to let them know I got them scheduled in February 2021.
Easy to Schedule and Readily Available
The good news is that a year later it is much, much, much easier to secure an appointment! COVID vaccines are easily accessible in our community for everyone ages 5 and older. Finding a location to get a vaccine and making a plan to get it done will be the easiest thing you do today.
