Lagom Music and Yoga Education is now offering classes at MYArts!

To kick off this collaboration, we are offering $5 drop in classes of two of our offerings- Early Elementary Music and Yoga (4K- 2nd Grade) and Late Elementary Music and Yoga (3rd- 5th Grade). Please sign up using the link provided!

The beautiful MYArts building off of East Wash! We will be in Studio 4A (There is a beautiful lounge right outside for parents to hang out while their kids have fun!)

Lagom (pronounced “law-gum”) is the Swedish concept of “Not too little. Not too much. Just right”. Not only does this term speak to my Scandinavian heritage, it perfectly describes my philosophy on yoga and music education. Children need a balance of structure and play in their creative experiences. Each class features beloved routines, new experiences, solid pedagogy, and a flexibility to fit the needs of each group of students. This unique combination of yoga and music instruction allows children to experience music and yoga in developmentally appropriate ways.

Lagom classes combine two of my passions, music and yoga. I am a long time public school music educator and a 200-hour registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. My experience allows me to adjust and respond to my students in authentic and effective ways.

MYArts is a dedicated and purpose-built youth arts center in Madison, WI for young people to inspire and be inspired, discover the arts, make connections, and explore their creativity.
