The Badger State is just full of awesome getaways – be it for a day or for a weekend… or even a full week for that matter! We are lucky to live in a state so loaded with outdoor summer fun… which for my family makes the long, brutal winters all worth it!
I am NOT an expert and have not yet been to some of the places listed below – but hope to make it to each and every one of them in the coming years. I did my research (asked our readers, some friends and trusty Google) and this is what I came up with. It is not comprehensive but my hope is that it will at least help you out (even just a little) the next time that your family is trying to decide where to spend a beautiful summer weekend!
