The Natural Theme Park & Water Park in the Wisconsin Dells…
(Wisconsin Dells, WI): Land of Natura is an inflatable water park on the world’s largest naturally filtered man-made lake. Situated on 150-acres of pristine land paralleling the Wisconsin River, this attraction is must-visit!
Along with the natural water park, Land of Natura also includes a mini shallow-depth water playground ideal for preschoolers; expansive beach area; kayaks and paddle boards for rent; North America’s longest suspended tree canopy tour; more than 10 miles of hiking and biking trails through the woods; river beach access with shoreline fishing; and a greenhouse at the welcome center from which the culinary team at the onsite restaurant will source vegetables, fruits, and herbs.
Fun for All Ages
We had a chance to visit last weekend with some friends and each person had a blast (our kids were ages 4-11). Life jackets are required for anyone playing on the inflatables – so our older kids (who are all strong swimmers + had on a life vest), were able to independently explore the obstacles. The younger kids had fun exploring with a grownup and were quite content on the nice sandy beaches – building sand castles and wading in the water.
We spent the whole day there and the kids never got bored. The kids spent most of the morning between the inflatables and the beach area. After lunch we explored a bit – and the kids had a blast playing with the dunk tank; and renting kayaks and paddle boards!
Insider tip: They provide life jackets, however – if you have your own at home, I recommend taking them. It will be much easier to spot your child – if they have a different color life vest. Also, the day we went they were running low and needed to collect any life vests that weren’t being used… which meant that while we were eating lunch ours got returned and then we had a hard time getting new ones after lunch. So I would recommend taking your own if you have one – or never taking it off if you borrow one!
Location and Hours
Summer hours for the park are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. every day of the week. Land of Natura is located at 250 Natura Drive on the outskirts of downtown. In our Apple maps we were able to plug in Land of Natura and it took us right there!

Lake with Plant Filtration System Is the Centerpiece
The owners of Land of Natura are three brothers, Adam, Rich and David Makowski, whose family history of resort ownership in Wisconsin Dells goes back more than 50 years. With Land of Natura, the Makowskis aim to reacquaint visitors with the natural beauty that first brought travelers to the Dells more than 150 years ago. The Land of Natura concept emphasizes being active in nature, sustainability, and multi-generational fun. The land is defined by 2,000 feet of river shoreline, bluff outcroppings, woodlands, marsh, prairie, and unglaciated rolling topography. A portion of the property is a designated State Nature Conservancy Easement, ensuring the natural scenic beauty of the river shoreline, including wildlife habitat and biological diversity, is protected. The Conservancy designation is one more way the owners remind visitors to leave a light footprint while still immersing themselves in nature.
