Why We Love Marcus Palace Cinema

Have you ever tried doing a family date night? I have a good option for you if you are looking for an idea! My family and I recently went to the Marcus Palace Cinema and it was such an enjoyable night for the entire family. The Palace Cinema makes it so easy that my husband and I can even enjoy ourselves and my youngest is 3 so that’s saying a lot! And before you move along because we all have been to a movie, hear me out. Movie theatres have changed for the better since I’ve been a kid and it’s worth sharing or reminding everyone about it!

There are a handful of reasons why we love the Palace Cinema, it’s clean and the staff is wonderful, but what I love the most is the food options and the food delivery to your seat! They have Zaffiro’s Express (handmade thin-crust pizza and more) which you can eat while watching the show or in the lobby. If eating in a restaurant setting is more of your style they also have a Take Five Lounge that is adjacent to the lobby of the cinema. Personally our favorite way is ordering food in the lobby and having the waitstaff deliver it to our seats. When wrangling little ones the last thing I want to do is try to hold all of our food and drinks. The fact that they deliver our food to our seats is such a great idea and so convenient! I feel it would be a disservice to not mention that there’s gelato at the Palace Cinema that I still think about today. It was so delicious.

Once we find our seats my 3 year old and I have something in common, we love the DreamLounger reclining seats and we can’t wait to adjust the seats to our liking. These recliners are so much more comfortable than the seating we have at home! It’s also worth mentioning that the extra leg room between the rows has changed the game with taking little kids to the movies. Now it’s so much easier if they need to use the restroom or just stand up and wiggle for a second. And I absolutely love that the armrest goes up so virtually I’m sitting in a loveseat with my kiddo while enjoying the movie.

Going to the movies as a family can add up, but please know there are so many great programs at the Palace Cinema that make it very affordable for everyone. The Kids Dream Family Film Series sponsored by American Family Insurance features films for $3 admission during the summer, winter and fall. They also have value programs such as $5 tickets for Tuesdays, $6 tickets for students on Thursdays and $6 tickets every day of the week before 11 am.  Throughout the year they also host special free family parties. We went to one last summer for Incredibles 2 and my kids loved decorating masks and getting cotton candy for the very first time. Along with all of these great options to finding lower price tickets you can also sign up for the free Magical Movie Rewards program where you earn points for every dollar you spend, plus FREE popcorn on $5 Tuesdays!

Before hitting up our movie I was talking to the manager for a bit and it’s so apparent they care about the customers. Not only are they trying to run a successful business but at the forefront they are also really listening and want all of us to have the best experience possible. I hope you are able to take advantage of some of the awesome programs, events and convenient features the Marcus Palace Cinema offers! Our family loves the Palace and I think you will too!
