It’s no secret that the greater Madison, WI area is chock full of breweries! The vibe of breweries is typically a little more laid back (than a typical bar or restaurant) which makes them a family friendly option. Whether you are looking for a place to kick back and relax, or looking to have dinner – there are some great options in the area!
Breweries tend to be a bit more spacious (ie: family friendly)! My family loves going to the Wisconsin Brewing Company and sitting in their huge ‘backyard’ each summer. It’s a fun place to let the kids play, while we sit out on a blanket or in lawn chairs.
Wisconsin Brewing Company does NOT serve food (so you can take your own in). We usually order from Sugar River Pizza in Verona ahead of time, which works out great! New Glarus Brewing Company is another favorite, however their beer garden and public areas are currently closed.
