A Beloved Summer Tradition
Free summer concert series at McKee Farms Park in Fitchburg is back and bringing the perfect summer nights!
The evening kicks off with the Youth Band at 6pm, followed by the headliner at 7pm, so you can enjoy a full night of live music in a beautiful outdoor setting.
Come hungry—there will be a great lineup of food trucks serving up tasty options, plus beer and wine carts for the adults to enjoy while you relax and take in the music.
Best of all, it’s completely free to attend, making it an easy and fun way to gather with friends, bring the kids, and enjoy the best of summer in the community.
Grab a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for a laid-back night of music, food, and good company!

June 15 –Armchair Boogie
Jamgrass, newgrass, funkgrass, whatever you want to call it— Armchair Boogie is rapidly becoming one of the country’s hottest acts. With an unbounded sound, this Wisconsin-based quartet is known for their powerful harmonies, timeless originals, and choice covers, along with unforgettable live performances. Listed as a “Must-See Roots Artists at Bourbon & Beyond” by The Bluegrass Situation who wrote, “We recently caught this jammy Wisconsin outfit at Earl Scruggs Music Festival, where they burnt down their late-night set.”

July 20 – Bumpus
With funky beats, deep bass, lush JB horns, and a heavy organ sound, Bumpus brings energy, funk, and soul to every performance! Hailing from Chicago, Bumpus has performed at the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Festival, and shared the stage with Dr. John, War, The Roots, Jurassic 5, Maceo Parker, and Fred Wesley.

August 17 – Chicago Latin Groove
Chicago Latin Groove delivers an energetic fusion of Latin rhythms, salsa, and contemporary dance music. Known for their vibrant percussion, lively arrangements, and engaging performances, the band brings a festive atmosphere that gets audiences moving. Their sound blends traditional Latin influences with modern flair, creating a memorable finale to the summer concert season.

McKee Farms Park is also home to a free splash pad and Kids’ Crossing Dream Park, so kids can cool off and play, or dance and sing along with the bands—there’s something for everyone at this family-friendly park party!
It’s also an easy spot to reach by car or bike, located just off the Capital City Trail with plenty of free parking available. Whether you’re riding in or driving over, it’s the perfect way to wrap up a summer evening with music, local brews, and friends.
