Family Friendly

What I didn’t realize (until now) is that AirVenture truly has something for everyone of all ages and specifically, families can find 7 days packed with fun family-friendly activities. I will be taking my family early in the week (including my 4 year old twins and 5 year old), and we are really excited!

Flight Experiences

Don’t miss out on seeing The World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration from above in a Bell 47 Helicopter or Ford Tri-Motor. There are plenty of opportunities to take flights at EAA AirVenture and gain a unique perspective of the grounds.

One Week Wonder

The One Week Wonder project, where a COMPLETE airplane is built over a seven-day period, is returning to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in 2018!

The below video is amazing – where you can actually witness the aircraft being built!

Evening Programming

And after a fun-filled day in the sun, what better way to unwind than by taking in a show or a movie on the AirVenture grounds?! All evening events are included with your admission and there are a wide variety of evening programs, from featured concerts to movies to educational programming! There is also an amphitheater-style movie showing each evening at Fly-In Theater (bring your blanket or lawn chairs).

Country music star Dustin Lynch and Maddie & Tae will kick off the post-air show concert on Monday evening, July 23. For a complete list of all movies throughout the Airventure grounds, visit the schedule of events and select the category ‘Movies’. And for the first time in North America, a drone light show will be part of an air show when AirVenture 2018 presents up to 100 lighted drones in flight during night air shows on July 25 and 28!
