Go, See, Explore: Dolphin’s Cove in Sun Prairie, WI

“We’re here already?!?”, they asked. My thoughts, exactly. That was a really quick drive and now we’re here and ready to play at a waterpark. This couldn’t be easier. My kids bounced out of the car, grabbed their bags, and stood in the lot staring at the slides trying to pick which one to go down first. We stopped at the front desk, quickly confirmed our reservation, and grabbed our wristbands. We were off and literally running to get in the water. We found a few chairs under an umbrella, grabbed some goggles, and started to explore the perfectly sized, outdoor waterpark.

Our Day

You’ve read how it started, and it continued with the same energy. The lines were short so my kids had more time on the slides. I could stand in one spot and see all of them. We didn’t have to split up to watch the little and big kids. You cannot do this at other, larger waterparks. This was a major plus for us!

They loved climbing on the play structure and somehow were always surprised, but still smiling, when they couldn’t dodge the water spraying everywhere. We managed to pull them away from the slides and structure and ordered sandwiches from the grill. We ate at a table with an umbrella to take a quick break from the sun and quickly returned to the pools and slides to finish up the day.

It was the perfect spot on a hot day. Check it out!
