When summer arrives in Verona, Fireman’s Park Beach is a great place to spend time outdoors with family and friends. With swimming, a splash pad, fishing opportunities, and convenient amenities, the beach offers plenty of ways to enjoy the season.
Beach Hours
The 2026 beach season begins on June 14 and runs through August 16.
Beach hours are:
Daily: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Certified lifeguards are on duty during beach hours. Hours may be adjusted due to weather or other circumstances.
Splash Pad Hours
The splash pad is open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
There is no fee to use the splash pad, making it a popular option for families throughout the summer.
Admission Rates
Visitors can purchase either a daily pass or a season pass.
Daily Admission

- Nonresidents: $6

Family passes can include up to six family members. A nanny or babysitter may be added to a family pass for an additional $25.
Take a Swim
Fireman’s Park Beach features a designated swimming area staffed by certified lifeguards daily from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Visitors can enjoy a day at the beach while trained staff are on duty.

Go Fishing
In addition to swimming, Fireman’s Park Beach offers shore fishing opportunities for bluegill and bass. Two fishing piers are available for anglers.
Fishing is not permitted in the swimming area while the beach is open.
Beach Rules and Safety Information
To help ensure a safe experience for all visitors, children under the age of eight must be supervised at all times by a responsible person who is at least 15 years old.
Coast Guard-approved flotation devices are allowed. Coolers and outside food are permitted, but glass containers and alcohol are prohibited.
