(Madison, WI): Kick off the Holiday season at Hilldale with Reindeer Games and Tree Lighting Event on Sunday, November 21st, 2021. Featuring a visit from Santa and a few of his reindeer, kids crafts, carolers and a preview of Black Friday shopping deals. This is the holiday lighting event you don’t want to miss!
Event Details
3:00 – 5:30 PM: Pose for a photo with Santa and his reindeer pulling their sleigh on the Green near L.L. Bean
3:00 – 4:30 PM: Be entertained by the cool sounds of MAD CITY PIPER in the Plaza
3:00 – 6:00 PM: Stroll and shop Hilldale for Black Friday preview sales.
3:00 – 5:00 PM: Join Creando Explorertorium on the Green (near bartaco) for free crafts for kids.
3:00 – 6:00 PM: Enjoy tractor pulled hayrides around Hilldale.
5:00 – 7:00 PM: Enjoy music by the Dickens Carolers in the Plaza by the big tree near Café Hollander.
6:00 PM: The tree lighting will take place – as they light the holiday tree and light up Hilldale for the holiday season!
Professional Photos
Bring a bag of non-perishable donations for MOM Food Pantry and the professional photographer will take your FREE family photos with the reindeer!
Please bring a bag with at least 5 items to donate. See the items pantry is in most need of here.

Please note: Hilldale knows how popular Santa and his reindeer will be – they encourage you to grab a selfie with Santa’s reindeer who will be grazing on the Green starting at 3:00 while you’re waiting in line to meet the big guy in red.
