Kids Building Wisconsin 2026: Inspiring the Next Generation of Builders
Madison, WI: Kids Building Wisconsin will host its annual event on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Willow Island at the Alliant Energy Center – Madison. This free, family-friendly event is designed to spark children’s interest in the construction industry through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and interactive exhibits.

What to Expect
The event will feature over 60 interactive exhibits that introduce children and families to the exciting world of construction. Attendees can experience crane and boom lift rides, try virtual reality tile building, climb into big construction equipment, and take photos atop a steel beam provided by Riley Construction. Local trades and industry leaders will also offer hands-on workshops and live demonstrations throughout the day.
