2025 SUMMER CAMPS IN THE MADISON, WI AREA

Kids Junction Summer Adventure Camp is a state licensed, discovery and enrichment program designed to facilitate an environment of fun, learning, and self-discovery. This camp is for kids entering kindergarten through 4th grade.

Our Summer Adventure Camp Sr. program is geared to middle school students. It is for preteens and teens entering 5th through 8th grade. This traveling camp is a high energy, interactive program that will challenge the preteen and young teen offering loads of fun with extensive field trips, challenging outdoor activities, group games and sports, fun crafts, and team building opportunities.

We offer summer camp opportunities for students in Pre-K-Grade 12 on our beautiful 40-acre campus. We are conveniently located in Waunakee, just outside Madison!

Many of our camps are science, research, or business focused, with hands-on activities to enhance learning and interests.

We place an emphasis on spending time outside and exploring nature. Our campus landscape lends itself to science experiments, kayaking down the Yahara, building a pop-up fresh vegetable farm stand, and observing plants and insects on hikes through the Cherokee Marsh Conservation Park.

Our Summer Research Academy (for students entering grades 8-12) is through a partnership with Edgewood College. Students will attend the program on the college campus in downtown Madison and have access to college labs and libraries!

Summer Discovery camps each run for one week, and many students attend multiple sessions. Summer Research Academy is a two week session.

Camp Woodbrooke – A small summer camp in the BIG outdoors. An overnight summer camp for children ages 7-15, emphasizing a close relationship with nature, in small groups. Located on 162 acres in southwestern Wisconsin.

Monroe Street Arts Center is thrilled to invite young artists ages 3 through 14 to join us for an unforgettable summer filled with artistic exploration and fun.

Across 10 weeks, we host various themed camps that are carefully planned to appeal to diverse interests while encompassing a wide array of mediums. Our camps have included preschool dinosaur art, outer space art, 3D art, fiber arts, pop music camp, and so much more!

You can choose from morning camps 9:00-11:30 am, afternoon camps 12:30 – 3:00 pm, or both! Campers ages 7 and up can stay for a sack lunch between camps for an additional cost.

Stellar Tech Girls have a blast exploring science and engineering while applying their artistic creativity! Become a part of our science-loving community by joining our camps for girls and non-binary kids ages 9 to 14. Our campers love meeting other girls who are passionate about science, learning from female role models in STEM, building hands-on projects, watching science experiments explode, and crafting with our colorful art supplies. Day camp at The Little Gym is the perfect choice for long, hot summers when you want your child to stay active, safe, and happy! Your child will spend three adventure-filled hours a day on a unique, exciting quest with their friends. Each week revolves around an interactive learning theme with different, creative lesson plans that will keep your child engaged. We combine fun physical activities and games in the gym with plenty of time to laugh and play with friends. Each week has a new theme so your child will never tire of camp at The Little Gym. Camp Pawprint is the ultimate destination for young animal enthusiasts ages 7-12! Over 10 exciting weeks, campers will dive into four distinct animal-themed experiences that will spark curiosity, creativity, and a love for our animal friends.

Each week focuses on a different theme:
• Wild Things Week will immerse campers in the wonders of wild animals near and far.
• Pet-Tacular Professions Week brings the world of animal careers to life, featuring guest speakers who work in veterinary fields, conservation, and more.
• Animal Allies Week teaches campers how to protect and care for the animals that share our world.
• Pets Week is a celebration of the pets we adore, with fun activities centered around the care, training, and love of pets of all kinds.

Our week-long, half-day camps are packed with engaging activities and project-based learning designed to spark curiosity, ignite excitement and foster a lifelong passion for STEM. Kids can explore exciting topics like LEGO robotics, micro:bit programming, Scratch game coding and Minecraft modding—all in a supportive, fun-filled environment.

This year, we’re offering camps at three locations and introducing new camps for all grade levels! Join us at BadgerBots in Middleton, Wingra School in Madison and EAGLE School in Fitchburg/Madison.

Looking for full-day coverage? Register your kids for two half-day camps—one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The Legacy Academy is a large indoor playground in Fitchburg which includes climbing ropes, a climbing net, playsets with slides & tire swings, jumping towers & landing pits, swing sets, gymnastics & tumbling equipment, soft sculptured play figures, and 40 arcade & table games. 

The enrolled children have access to the play equipment, arcade & table games, computers, DVD movie collection, and activity floors.

The day camp hours are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays. Parents are asked to prepare a box or sack lunch while four snack tickets are conveyed daily to each camper.

The weekly rate is $35 for one child or $60 for 2+ siblings while the weekly rate is $150 for 1 child or $250 for 2+ siblings. The camp is primarily for youngsters 7 to 12 but a limited number of five and six -year-olds may be enrolled per state law. The academy does not have the staff or training to accommoate special needs children.
