Our recent Mommy Makeover winner was Melinda H. of Cross Plains! Melinda is a very busy mother of 2 and was so excited for the opportunity to take time for herself and to be pampered by our friends at Studio 262 and The Purple Goose!
We chose these two local businesses because we personally use them and love them! I started going to Studio 262 last year after trying a number of different local salons. From the first appointment I was hooked and knew I wouldn’t need to go anywhere else!
The Purple Goose is located in Verona and is a specialty boutique offering women’s clothing, accessories, and an ever-changing array of gifts. The prices can’t be beat – nor can the personalized service. I learned about The Purple Goose shortly after moving to Madison because a friend of a friend in Des Moines, Iowa knew the owner! It is such a great place to shop – I highly recommend checking it out! They also do parties, where they bring the traveling boutique to you and your friends… for a fun girls night out experience!

“Studio 262 has such a great vibe and is the perfect place to relax and unwind without the kiddos. Amber was so much fun to work with. She is super sweet and did a wonderful job with my new cut and color! I gave her a few thoughts on what styles I normally like and she ran with it to create a new look that I am absolutely in love with! The make up session was a lot of fun, too… She totally knows how to make a woman feel beautiful! “

“The Purple Goose is definitely my new favorite shop in town! I can’t believe I hadn’t been to this place sooner. It’s so charming and the selection is amazing. I wish I could have taken one of EVERYTHING 🙂 One great thing about The Purple Goose is that it has such a unique blend of styles and I really haven’t been to many other places in Madison with such beautiful pieces. The best part though, was the customer service. Halley (the owner) is wonderful; kind, laid back and super friendly. It made shopping there stress free! I will definitely be headed back sometime soon (ssshhhh…..don’t tell my husband!) and will be bringing the kiddos with as it’s kid friendly!”
