Kickstart the Holidays with Festive Fun and a Grand Tree Lighting Ceremony

The most wonderful time of the year is fast approaching, and what better way to usher in the holiday season than the 2024 North Pole Party at Hilldale? On Sunday, November 24, from 3 PM to 6 PM, you and your family are invited to a magical extravaganza that promises to be an enchanting experience filled with merriment, reindeer, crafts, and the lighting of a magnificent tree!
Reindeer Encounters
Start your adventure with a meet-and-greet featuring Santa’s adorable reindeer! Snap a photo in Santa’s sleigh located on The Green near L.L. Bean, and don’t miss the chance to see two more reindeer grazing nearby at bartaco. It’s a photo op you won’t want to miss!
Spirit of the Season
Keep an eye out for Santa himself as he makes his way through Hilldale from 3 to 6 PM. Enjoy the sounds of the season with local musicians playing classic holiday tunes throughout the evening. Be sure to capture a special moment with the Nutcracker dancers from the Monona Academy of Dance, who will be posing for photos outside of Kendra Scott. Plus, 20% of sales during the event will be donated to support the Academy!
For the perfect holiday selfie, head to the Selfie Stand near the magnificent 30-foot tree by Café Hollander.
Winter Warmers
Stay warm and cozy with complimentary Crescendo hot chocolate and toppings, available while supplies last (one cup per person). Tree Lighting Spectacular
As the evening winds down, gather at The Plaza just before 6 PM for the Tree Lighting Spectacular! Meteorologist Savanna Brito from WISC-TV will welcome Santa to lead the countdown to the grand illumination of our stunning holiday tree, marking the official start of the festive season.
