My 10 Favorite Finds on the 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale kicks off today  for card holders (opens to the public on July 19) – and every year it can feel like Christmas in July! I prefer to shop local as much as absolute possible – but there are a few things that you just can’t find locally and that you can find for a great price point during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I always have friends asking me what my favorites are, so I wanted to share them with y’all! And that leads me to my must haves and I would love to hear what yours are too!

1: North Face Grey Parka

I bought this last year during the sale and it quickly sold out – but it’s back this year and deeply discounted! I wore it all winter long and loved the longer length on it, the versatility and the weight. It kept me warm without being too bulky.

*True to size.

2: Zella leggings

I am a big fan of workout tights, yoga pants, leggings… you name it! And Zella is a high quality brand offered for a lower price point than some of their counterparts. Zella is always a HUGE part of the N Sale – lots of styles, colors and sizes. But these were my favorite this year (I also had my eye on a red pair!).

*I usually size up slightly on Zella (I’m in between a small and medium and always go with the MED).

3: Barefood Dreams | Cozychic Lite® Coastal Hooded Cardigan

If you haven’t owned a Barefoot Dreams cardigan yet – then I recommend you give it a try. These are truly the softest material skin may ever feel. And perfect for fall, winter and spring when you need to layer up. I wear mine around the house (all winter long) and also out and about. They are always one of my favorite parts of the N Sale!

*You can size down for this brand – I go with the XS/S.

4: Natori |Bliss Perfection Bikini

I buy underwear once a year. And it’s during the N Sale! I stock up on my favorite brand (Natori) every July. They also make some high quality bras at a great price point (also included in the sale!).

5: Kendra Scott | Kirsten Drop Earrings

I couldn’t resist this pair of KS earrings — and fun fact, not only is Kendra Scott originally from Wisconsin (Kenosha), there will be a new Kendra Scott store opening at Hilldale this August! KS offers  higher quality jewelry items at affordable price points.

6: Paige | Hoxton High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans

I know everyone has different opinions on denim – I am one to splurge on a high quality pair of jeans. They are a wardrobe staple and tend to fit better and last longer. This pair is one of my favorites – not sure if it’s the slimming color or the fact that they are high waisted, but this is my favorite pair of jeans and also included on the N Sale this year!

*True to size

7: BP | Raw Edge V-Neck Tee

These v-necks are on sale for $11.90! They are also a wardrobe staple and there are tons of colors to choose from. My personal favorite is the black/ivory stripe – but I also love the jewel tones and pastels (and always love black!).

*If in between sizes, size up.

8: Zella | So Graceful Ruched Tee

Remember how I mentioned Zella being a big part of the sale? Well here they go again with a great every day top. I really do love Zella — comfortable, versatile, affordable and durable. I love the black option for this top!

9: Bumble & Bumble | Summer Loves Set

I am a huge fan of Bumble & Bumble (have been for years) – and this is a great price point for some high quality hair products! I personally have fine hair and absolutely love the surf spray which helps add texture.

10: Adidas |PureBoost DPR Running Shoe

Whether you are an actual runner or someone who just enjoys athleisure wear – I have and love these shoes! I use them for the gym, but also to walk my dog or to run errands. Comfy and cute!

*True to size.

Other tips – I always buy my kids their denim, winter coats and shoes during the N Sale! There are great deals on brand names (North Face, Patagonia, Hudson Jeans, Puma, Nike & more). It’s a great time to shop ahead for the holidays on some items that you may not otherwise splurge on. The BP section will have more savvy price points whereas the designer section is obviously going to cost more. But there are a lot of price points and a lot great deals! Plus, Nordstrom offers FREE SHIPPING (yay!) and if you are dissatisfied, their return policy is second to none. I also discovered that you can easily return items to the local Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack in the case of Madison.
