Birthday Party Recipes

bday1

September is officially all about birthday planning at our house.  With Iyla turning 2 in a few weeks and Bianca turning 5 eight days later we are seriously behind this year.  Usually we (and by we I mean I) pick a theme.  Last year Bianca wanted a Yoga party, okay that was easy to work with.  This year I let the girls pick their themes with no help (nagging, prodding, suggesting) from me.  Bianca is having a princess ice cream Party and Iyla a rainbow pony party….um, Okay.  It’s always been a goal of mine to create fun food for birthdays that are healthy but still special treats.  Oh and easy too, I like sleep way too much to stay up all night making party food (I’m guessing most of us feel the same way unless you are getting paid to do it).  Here are some of my favorite recipes from birthday parties past….
