Located just a short 15-20 minute drive from Madison at 1216 Wisconsin Highway 19, Marshall, WI, this family-owned and operated farm makes finding your perfect tree a memorable experience.

Not Your Typical Christmas Tree Farm
At East Wind, the focus is on creating lasting holiday memories. From the moment your family steps onto the farm, you’ll be greeted with a warm fire, festive Christmas music, and a free cup of hot chocolate.
While you browse, the team will help prepare your tree for a mess-free ride home:
- Cutting an inch off the bottom to help it drink at home
- Shaking and baling the tree
- Securing it to your vehicle for transport
Choose the Perfect Tree
East Wind offers a variety of options for every family:
- Painted Trees – Bold, fresh-cut trees painted in red, blue, purple, or white, perfect for themed décor. Limited selection each year.
- Fresh-Cut Trees – Premium Wisconsin-grown Balsam, Canaan, and Fraser firs ranging from 5’ to over 15’ tall. Unlike typical lots, these trees are displayed in groves so you can view them from all sides before selecting.
- Cut Your Own Trees – A limited field selection is available for families who want the full experience. Saws provided!
Wreaths, Decor, and Local Gifts
Enhance your holiday décor with handcrafted wreaths, porch décor, and unique local gifts. Wreaths range from 24” to 60” and are made using the farm’s premium evergreens. Porch décor includes evergreen gnomes, birchwood reindeer, and lush porch pots, many handcrafted on-site. Inside the shop, find ornaments, festive home accents, candles, gourmet foods, and handcrafted items from local artisans and Wisconsin businesses.
Special Events: Free Photos with Santa
East Wind Christmas Tree Farm invites families to capture holiday memories with Free Photos with Santa on select weekends. No purchase is necessary. Dates and times include:
- November 29: 9 a.m. – noon
- November 30: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- December 6: 9 a.m. – noon
- December 7: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
