Hi there! My name is Dani and I’m honored to contribute to Madison Moms Blog! When I’m not out enjoying this beautiful city I am busy working as a Social Media Specialist. I also manage my blog, Thyme is Honey, and my Etsy Shop. You can often find me biking around town with my husband or out for a walk with our Jack Russell Terrier, Walter. Today I am sharing some of my favorite style + beauty items for fall, why I love them, and where you can buy them! You can also find me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest.
1. Nike Vintage Collection ($85.00) – This color combo is one of my favorites (I have an entire board dedicated to it) so I couldn’t say no to these. They’re super comfortable and perfect for running errands around town.
2. J.Crew Illesteva Leonard Sunglasses ($175.00) – These sunnies are sure to become a staple that you wear year after year. I love the accentuated tortoise and round frame.
3. Lip Slip by Sara Happ ($24.00) – This balm is amazing, it looks great but also leaves your lips super soft! A must-have for our cold winter months. Available locally at J.Crew.
4. Tarte BB Tinted Primer + SPF 30 ($35.00) – Just because summer has ended doesn’t mean your SPF application should! It’s important to apply SPF daily, especially to your face. This BB Tinted Primer from Tarte is a total dream—it leaves skin smooth and even-toned in seconds. Available locally at Sephora.
5. Davines Beautifying Potion ($41.00) – Have you tried Davines products on your hair? They’re amazing. I use all of their products but especially love the Beautifying Potion, which provides moisture + shine but also helps my hair hold an amazing curl. Available locally at Thorps Madison (this salon uses all Davines products).
6. Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics Cleansing Oil and Vitamin C Serum ($38.00 & $68.00) – If you’re looking for an amazing, ultra-hydrating, organic skincare regimen that is beautifully packaged, works like magic, and smells like a 10-day vacation, look no further than ED4OLO. I adore the entire line but couldn’t survive the winter without the cleansing oil and Vitamin C Serum. Oil does a great job of cleaning the skin without stripping it of it’s natural moisture, and gently removes eye makeup in seconds.
7. One Love Organics Konjac Sponge ($10.00) – Have you gotten on board that konjac train, yet? These little sponges are constructed of all-natural plant fibers and helps to gently exfoliate your skin while you wash—works wonders on lips, as well!
8. RapidLash Growth Serum ($27.00) – This stuff works! You have to be really committed to applying it every night, but after a few weeks you’ll notice added length in your lashes and they’ll continue to lengthen as the months go by. I’m on my 3rd bottle of it. Huge fan.
9. RocksBox Membership ($15.00/month and up) – Have you heard of RocksBox? I recently bought a 1-year membership and have been having too much fun with it. Here are the basics: RocksBox is a jewelry delivery service that brings 3 pieces of high-end designer jewelry to your doorstep. You can wear it as much as you want, then return it in the prepaid envelope, and within a few days you’ll get 3 more pieces to wear and enjoy! You can send and receive it as often as you want (I tend to keep each set for a week, then return) and if there’s anything you love you can purchase it at a discounted price. This is a fun way to have a constantly changing jewelry wardrobe! Wanna try it for 1-month for free? Click here to sign up.
10. Infiniti Pro by Conair Spin Styler ($40.00) – We all know that our hair looks amazing when it’s round-brushed…but who has the arm strength for that? Not to mention the time! But this little tool is saving my life. The brush-head blows out hot air and also SPINS, which makes having a perfect ‘do perfectly easy. You won’t regret this purchase.
11. Nars Blush in Albatross ($30.00) – Been looking for the perfect highlighter? Look no further. NARS Albatross adds a very natural-looking radiance to your skin. It looks great layered underneath a cream blush—which helps it look like the glow is truly radiating from the inside out. Available locally at Sephora.
12. Bobbi Brown Lady Ruba ($26.00) – If you love bold lip colors you won’t want to miss out on this limited edition color from Bobbi Brown. It is absolutely a timeless red that looks great on everyone and I can’t say enough about the formula.
13. Eyeko Brow Liner ($19.00) – Brow products might be one of my favorite things. I like brows to look natural, but appreciate a product that can fill them in without being too obvious. The tip of the Eyeko Brow Liner is actually made up of tiny bristles (not a felt tip) so the product goes on lightly with a whispy, hair-like application.
