Grape Slushy Pops

The sunlight is beginning to stretch into the evening hours and summer is truly on the the horizon. We’re in the home stretch people! That means Madison becomes an even more magical and the possibilities for fun with your kids are abundant (check out our Summer Bucket List). And most importantly it means it’s popsicle season.
Whatever name you have for them (ice pops, freeze pops, popsicles, frozen treats, you get the idea) there isn’t much better on a hot summer day. Guess What?? It’s easy, healthy and affordable to make your own. This recipe is one of my favorites…refreshing and with a great slushy texture. Perfect for keeping little ones hydrated (also great for helping sick kiddos get rehydrated).

Grape Slushy Pops
Ingredients:
2 cups Grapes (we used red & green)
1 cup Orange Juice
1/2 cup pure Coconut Water
Wash your grapes. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and whizz. If you don’t have a high powered blender that is okay, it might just take a little while to get the grapes blended up. Pour the liquid into popsicle molds and freeze for about 6-8 hrs before eating. I find rinsing the molds under a little hot water for 5-10 seconds will help them pop out easily. Enjoy!
