PB and J Smoothie

0DV_6494

This a fun, easy and DELICIOUS recipe! It’s like a sandwich in smoothie form. Kid’s love to help making it almost as much as they love drinking it. It is always a big hit in my Cooking Classes for Kids. A healthy treat, perfect for breakfast, snack or pretty much anytime of day. I have also made a nut free version using sunflower butter and it was just as good.

PB and J Smoothie

Ingredients:

2 tbsp Peanut Butter (or other nut or seed butter)

1/2 cup Blueberries, frozen

1 Banana, frozen

1/2 cup to 1 cup Almond or Coconut Milk

1 tbsp Chocolate Chips (optional, I use Enjoy Life Foods, an allergy-friendly brand)

Add the nut or seed butter, blueberries and banana to a blender and begin to whizz up. Add the milk and chocolate chips (if using) till desired consistency is reached. Serve with a straw, it’s more fun that way!
