Sweetheart Meals – Date Night In

1DV_0244

Ah, Valentine’s Day…the most romantic day of the year, oh wait I’m a mom. But seriously as parents we don’t exactly get a ton of any romance time. If you have kids at home then going out on valentine’s day might not be in the cards – date night in to the rescue! A night in can be very romantic without the pressures of going out. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a firm believer in parents getting a night out but sometimes that just isn’t feasible. So if your Valentine’s Day reservation happens to be at your own address this year I’ve got you covered. Here are some perfect options for a 3 course menu for a date night in. Easy to prepare, healthy but decadent enough to feel like you’re at the shmansist of fancy restaurants (well except for the pacifiers and toys on the floor). Enjoy!

  1. Love this idea. Finding a sitter on Valentine’s Day is really hard for us, so I think we will take your advice and have a date night in!

  2. Getting a sitter on NYE or Valentines Day IS the worst! The kids want to celebrate too! I think we all may love many of these recipes 🙂
