Sun Prairie Family Aquatic Center Reopens Saturday, July 11
(Sun Prairie, WI):The wait is almost over! The Sun Prairie Family Aquatic Center will officially reopen on Saturday, July 11, after an extensive renovation.
Originally built in 1992, the Family Aquatic Center received major updates to improve the experience for visitors while extending the life of the facility. Renovations include a new bathhouse, improved accessibility, updated concessions, additional shade areas, and energy-efficient features. Guests will also enjoy new attractions, including an aqua zipline, climbing wall, and updated water slides.
The renovation project was shaped by community feedback and focused on creating a more welcoming, accessible, and enjoyable space for residents and visitors of all ages.
Hours of Operation
Beginning Saturday, July 11, the Family Aquatic Center will be open:
- Saturday & Sunday: 12:30–5:30 p.m.
- Monday–Friday: 12:30–4:30 p.m.
Night Swim will be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6–8 p.m.
Pass Information
A valid pass is required for admission to the Family Aquatic Center. Passes can be purchased at the Sun Prairie Recreation Office before visiting the facility.
