WHERE TO ORDER THANKSGIVING DINNER IN THE MADISON AREA

Confession: I am hosting a small Thanksgiving dinner this year, and, um… **whispers** I am not doing all of the cooking. Instead, I am cooking a few things that my family has requested (sweet potatoes, cheesy potatoes, classic Midwest green bean casserole, and everyone’s favorite peanut butter blossom cookies). We are also going to roast our own turkey. But that’s it. The other side dishes and desserts? We decided to order those from local restaurants.

Here are a few places in Madison where you can pre-order Thanksgiving deliciousness:

Brennan’s: You can get turkey and all the fixings here, and don’t forget their wonderful charcuterie plates.

Cooper’s Hawk: Pre-order your Thanksgiving kit that serves up to 6 people and includes a delightful selection of dishes

Eno Vino: Eno will provide your entire Thanksgiving meal from mashed potatoes to dessert.

Hubbard Avenue Diner: The Place in Madison for pie!

Hy-Vee: Pick up a full Thanksgiving meal or brunch for the morning after when you don’t feel like cooking again!

Pasture and Plenty: A one-stop shop for your entire meal (including vegan options and lasagna) or your favorite sides a la carte. And the desserts are to die for. We also ordered croissants for the next morning.

Whole Foods: Don’t forget the Whole Foods deli where you can get turkey and a mess of side dishes for the whole family.

The Wisconsin Union: A whole Thanksgiving feast available, complete with their famous fudge bottom pie

L’Etoille: Fancy and delicious Thanksgiving takeout.

Beef Butter BBQ: Order a smoked turkey and other meat for your Thanksgiving feast.

Bonfyre: Family style and a la carte options available

Branch + Daughter: A delicious full Thanksgiving dinner to-go, worth the drive to Windsor

Heritage Tavern: Heritage offers a full meal or a la carte meat options.

L’Etoile: French inspired Thanksgiving meal to-go.

Monty’s Blue Plate Diner: Let someone else make dessert and order a delicious pie from Monty’s

Miggy’s Bakes: Not into pie but still want to bring dessert to Thanksgiving? Miggy’s Bakes offers a delicious Thanksgiving dessert platter with turkey shaped sugar cookies, pumpkin cheesecake cookies, apple pie bars and much more!

Whole Foods: Order a full meal or just the sides.

Happy Thanksgiving, friends! Support local businesses, and give yourself a teeny break from the kitchen.
