Where To Order Thanksgiving Dinner in Madison, WI

Confession: I am hosting a small Thanksgiving dinner this year, and, um… **whispers** I am not doing all of the cooking. Instead, I am cooking a few things that my family has requested (sweet potatoes, cheesy potatoes, classic Midwest green bean casserole, and everyone’s favorite peanut butter blossom cookies). We are also going to roast our own turkey. But that’s it. The other side dishes and desserts? We decided to order those from local restaurants.

Here are a few places in Madison where you can pre-order Thanksgiving deliciousness:

Brennan’s: You can get turkey and all the fixings here, and don’t forget their wonderful charcuterie plates.

Cadre: Order ahead for a French-inspired take on Thanksgiving

Hubbard Avenue Diner: The Place in Madison for pie!

Pasture and Plenty: A one-stop shop for your entire meal (including vegan options and lasagna) or your favorite sides ala carte. And the desserts are to die for. We also ordered croissants for the next morning.

Whole Foods: Don’t forget the Whole Foods deli where you can get turkey and a mess of side dishes for the whole family.

The Edgewater: A complete Thanksgiving to go, and the menu looks perfect.

The Wisconsin Union: A whole Thanksgiving feast available, complete with their famous fudge bottom pie

L’Etoille: Fancy Thanksgiving takeout for 5 with a brussels sprout casserole and pumpkin cheesecake

Eno Vino: A full Thanksgiving meal to-go

CIRC: This is a terrific option because it is priced per person, making it really easy for you to scale your order to the size of your party

Graze: A completely mouthwatering assortment of Thanksgiving pies

Happy Thanksgiving, friends! Support local businesses, and give yourself a teeny break from the kitchen.
