New Name, Same Vision | Kids Express is now Hickory Hill Academy

We have partnered with Kids Express (now Hickory Hill Academy) since 2014 and are proud to partner with businesses that we have personally used and trust.

(Madison, WI): Over the past 25 years, Kids Express Learning Center has had tremendous success in providing a rich educational experience for children from infancy through preschool. This success created a demand in the community to expand their offerings with a Kindergarten through 8th grade independent school in 2019. This exciting evolution brought to light the true essence of their program and thus inspired a name change to reflect who they are today, and looks forward to a bright future for the school and community.

Kids Express is now Hickory Hill Academy

As of December 10, 2020, Kids Express Learning Center has changed its name to Hickory Hill Academy (along with a new logo). Hickory trees found throughout their 10-acre campus are strong, high-branching, and adaptable which aligns with the community character goals and vision of Cultivating Compassionate Leaders.

Hickory Hill Academy is serving children from infancy through 4th grade for the current academic school year and will add additional grades up through 8th grade in subsequent years. They are currently enrolling children up through 5th grade for the 2021-2022 Academic School Year and children up through age 12 for the Summer on the Farm, 2021 Summer Camp.

Summer on the Farm Camp

Summer on the Farm Camp takes place on a beautiful 10-acre farmette. Children ages 6 weeks through age 12 have fun with a variety of activities and educational learning experiences. All 13 classrooms take on a new look as teachers prepare indoor and outdoor activities for summer fun. The campus offers several shady playgrounds, a newly designed court and ten grassy acres just waiting to welcome children for loads of fun in the sun!

Each day, children meet with their camp teachers to engage in high-quality learning activities related to camp themes. Morning and end-of-day gatherings, lunch and snack are held with homeroom teachers. Throughout the rest of the day, homeroom teachers accompany the children to enrichment classes which provide opportunities for children to learn new skills and explore areas of special interest.

Testimonial

“As a parent, I can’t say enough great things about Hickory Hill Academy. We first experienced the school in 2018 (back when it was Kids Express) when we sent my then 3 year old there for preschool. It was truly a life changer for my child — each child has different needs, but in this case my child was struggling and desperately needed structure and routine that I (as a work from home mother of 3) was unable to provide.

Fast forward to 2020/21 and all three of my children have thrived at Hickory Hill Academy in their elementary school program. The school does a tremendous job of making learning fun (and safe) and of providing enrichment programs that are second to none. We have been very grateful for this school.” — Alisa Sleep/HHA Parent
