Even though I’m a grown adult I still get a Christmas stocking from my parents. I look forward to it every year because I know there will be wonderful goodies inside. As a parent you are most likely already swamped during this holiday season making the magic happen, but try not to forget about the all-important stocking! It may mean more to your family than you realize. But don’t fret, I have brainstormed a bunch of stocking stuffer ideas for you already.
Besides the obvious candy and snacks, try to personalize the stocking to each family member and their interests. Stocking stuffers don’t have to be expensive (and in my opinion, shouldn’t be!). If your teen is currently into guitar put some new guitar picks in his/her stocking. If your spouse loves to grill throw in some fancy spice mixes. Last year I received mini bottles of flavor-infused olive oil and packets of high-quality hot chocolate – yum.
Below I’ve listed a number of stocking stuffer ideas for every member of the family so you can start brainstorming and buying now. You don’t want to procrastinate until Christmas Eve and then have to run out to the nearest gas station (unless you think that sounds like a fun holiday tradition). Take a look through all the categories as a number of ideas could work for multiple ages.
