As a parent, it’s likely that your child has come home with at least one fundraiser asking you to buy items or goods to support their school or sports team or club… and so on. So many of these organizations are from out-of-state and often times are things we don’t even really want (or need!).
We have the solution. There are SO many local businesses who offer giveback nights or fundraising opportunities and who will keep your dollars right here in the Madison area!
Most of these are locally owned and all have a presence in our community — either by having a store or restaurant in the area and/or through employing local people in our community.
We did our best to compile a thorough list – but if we missed any, please comment below or shoot us an email and we will get it added. And the next time you are fundraising for your school or a local non-profit or sports team or club — be sure to think local first!
